Joomla sites allow for creation of website pages without the need for familiarity with complex web code - all it takes is just your writing ability and you'll never have to call for your "web team" when you need to make a minor change to the site.  And with a special entry point, you don't need expensive and cumbersome software on your compute, just a web browser.  Additionally, CMS setups are ideal for stores or merchandising companies: Incstone Design runs on Joomla!

Based on Joomla, Gantry is a modification to the original framework that allows for different variation in the CMS layout. As a result, Gantry can do things that Joomla can't and vice versa.  Operation and daily usage are about the same as Joomla, as well.
